![]() ![]() Unfortunately it seems that Plex DLNA server is not an option with the LS50 Wireless so unfortunately I wont use Yatse for my music (ofc I will continue using it for everything else). In the end I solved by replacing MiniDLNA with Fuppes. All I want to do is be able to access the FLAC files on my Mac and cast it to my Onkyo receiver using iOS as the controller. I literally went mad for days trying to troubleshoot it, as it seemed there was no way to play music from my server to the LS 50 speakers anymore. Using Plexamp to cast bit-perfect music to receiver I’ve been ripping and tagging my own CDs over the past year - over 1TB so far. That, and something in the MIniDLNA server config as well I suspect. So the root cause must be in the UPnP Receiver (the LS50 Wireless). The exact same happened with Bubble UpnP and HifiCast with the DLNA server (MiniDLNA, not the PLEX DLNA server) If I chose another track, the same thing all over. If I tried to switch to another album, it would garbled everything into a gigantic mess, playing 2 sec of that very first track, stopping, then playing that same 2 sec part, stopping, for 3-4 times until it stopped. Only Yatse was able to see it and start playback of a song on it but the playback would never advance to the following track in the queue. Plex DLNA server was nowhere to be found for any UPNP control point app (e.g. In fact, it got to a point where literally nothing would work. I did install Bubble UPnP and it seemed to solve all issues at the beginning but then the same stuff happened again. I didnt exactly given up, it’s just that I struggled to understand a pattern in the things I was experiencing. debug 5.log (545.8 KB)ĮDIT: the logs are from subsequent trial, so the track titles are different from what I wrote above. If you need Plex DLNA server logs I can upload those as well. KEF’s own streaming app sees Plex’s DLNA server and is able to succesfully initiate streaming of a given album, but when I switch to Yatse, it seems it is unable to pick the correct track and is only able to communicate simple play / pause commands to the playerĪttaching new logs here. ![]() I returned to Yatse, started to stream again ‘ Nierika’ … music comes from the speakers, but it’s ‘ Host of the Seraphim’? I try to skip track, the music stops for a second… and again ‘ Host of the Seraphim’ startsĮven the track progression slider works, play/pause commands work, etc but it keeps on playing the same song… skipping just restarts the song…Īt the beginning I thought the MiniDLNA server was interfering somehow so I turned it off… so that Plex’s own internal DLNA server would be up and running. So I stopped the casting on Yatse, opened HiFi Cast app, and try to stream ‘ Host of the Seraphim’ track from MiniDLNA server… it worked, so I stopped and killed the HFC app for good measure… Then I stopped it and try to play it again (' Nierika’ track), no music. However, here comes the weird part… it looked fine at the beginning, it played music. I literally wrote a reply saying ‘It’s working! etc etc’ but there’s some weird stuff happening…įirst of all, I was indeed running an older firmware on the speakers, after updating it I can play music … which ofc means a lot of Dead Can Dance
